What is the smallest amount of power you've ever seen someone abuse?

My high school had a program called the Sweep. The idea is that once the bell for the start of class rang, all teachers were to shut and lock the doors and all available faculty would roam the halls looking for students. Anyone caught was written up, and then escorted to a phone near the office where you had to call your parent, and depending on how often you were swept you had 1-5 days of in school suspension. Some teachers thought it was funny to follow you with an actual push broom and literally 'sweep' you by repeatedly ramming it into your ankles while you're walking to the phone.

Anyway, one day just as class was beginning, I threw up all over myself. I was already feeling sick and my mom's philosophy always was, "try and go to school/work anyway, and if you're really too sick they will send you home." My teacher immediately noticed and told me to go see the nurse. He didn't stop to write me a hall pass, but I figured it was fine because I was obviously ill and the nurse's office was only two doors down and around the corner. Just as I turned that corner, however, I was face to face with Mr. Johnson, the balding, one-armed, band teacher who cheated on his wife with the colorguard coach when my older sister was in high school.

No pass, no excuse he said as he escorted me to the phone. He said I could clean myself up and see the nurse after I called my parents. When I got to the phone I left a voicemail for mom just saying, "I'm suspended for being sick at school." Mr. Johnson had a shiteating grin the whole time. He handed me my ISS notification and said something like "See you tomorrow!" before he left.

The nurse sent me home and when I felt well enough to go back to school, I was still expected to sit in time out in the auditorium the entire day. I have other stories about the Sweep, but this was the only one that happened to me.

tl;dr I threw up all over myself, sent to the nurse sans hallpass, was forced to miss class and fall behind as punishment.
