What was socially acceptable in the 90s, but not today?

Chill, iOS is actually pretty secure.

When I was 17 I couldn't wait for the latest jailbreak exploit to install wallpapers and tweaks and all that cool teen shit.

But as an adult, especially with banking apps and life-critical-data I'm thankful that jailbreaks are always a few versions behind and any new findings are quickly patched.

As a kid I didn't realize how powerful and dark the system exploits of a jailbreak were, I was just using them for free games and cheats and fun stuff but with what I know now, somebody with an out dated iPhone, I could hack into it in mere minutes, load in my own rootkit or just take their credentials and banking sessions then leave. Thank FUCK it's not that easy on the latest versions

But Android is a bit easier, with Drozer for example, I only need to ask you to permit me use of your cellphone to make a call, as mine 'went flat' If someone is silly enough to unlock the phone, I can quickly change some USB settings and I'm in. I can turn to make my call and slide in the usb cable with Drozer running on a Pi and on it loads. "Call failed sorry" and off I go with behind the scenes access to your life. The application exploits for android are immense, unless you're constantly up to date with the latest android phone the typical user is absolutely jarred in this situation affecting most android phones
