What is something you are 100% sure about but a lot of people wouldn't agree with?

Okay, I do agree that not every military pursuit is bad, we rightfully got involved in the World Wars for example.

However, I don't agree with the wars we're in now. For example, we are currently fighting ISIS in the Middle East (which by itself is good, even though they wouldn't exist without us in the first place). We are also funding our ally Saudi Arabia with weapons. Saudi Arabia didn't like the fact that Yemen wanted a democratically elected leader, so they started bombing Yemen. There is a rebel group in Yemen fighting Saudi Arabia. That rebel group is (or was, they might be too distracted with SA now) also fighting against ISIS and Al Quaeda.

So America is funding and fighting both sides of a war. If we really wanted stability and resolution in the Middle East, our strategy would be completely different, and I'm not sure how much I agree with "American interests abroad" if those interests are just prolonging a war and keeping our troops from coming home
