What is something you could talk about for hours?

Reed organs.

Don't get me started, I will never stop. They are such amazing and underrated instruments. I sometimes order books from the library or antiquarian book shops and I devour them.

You think there isn't much to know about reed organs? Think again. There are so many details. How do they work, their history, which style was built in which era, which composers used them, how they were perceived in public, which wood was used, how many reeds do they have, which stops, who built them, what's their life story, why did so many organ builders migrate to the US...

*breathes heavily*

I just love them. They're amazing, underrated little wonderboxes. Can't imagine a life without them.
