What is something that is generally accepted as healthy but is actually not?

if bees live in man-made hives then the honey needs to be collected. not collecting the honey would result in a crowded hive, since they produce at a rate faster than they can consume. a crowded hive makes for angry, aggressive bees. collecting the honey means they have enough room to hang out, do their thing, and stay happy. now, if you have to collect it anyway why not enjoy it?

likewise, it is in the beekeeper's best interests to maintain happy, healthy bees. so the collection of honey is done at a rate that is safe and harmonious both for them and the honey-loving humans.

man-made hives also create opportunity for more bees to live and thrive and continue doing all the cool stuff bees do, since so often hives they create on their own are removed because they cause a nuisance to the people who live or work around them.

tl;dr the human/bee relationship is cool as shit and it's okay to eat their bee-barf since they have extra
