What is something that makes you genuinely sad to the point of tears?

My Grandpa went deaf and its slowly turning him from one of the smartest people I know to someone who can’t function alone. He had early stages of dementia snd since the deafness, its been getting worse a lot faster.

Theres a surgery to fix his hearing too, but its 200K, and thinking about how money could literally make a lot of my family happy in this situation makes me even more sad, then thinking about my Mom struggling financially and wanting to take care of him while trying to take care of all of us makes me even more sad, especially when she blames herself when of course its not anyones fault, and then thinking about how its just a shitty situation no one deserves just dissolves me into a puddle of tears
