What is something people often overlook about the concept of god?

I can certainly agree that it's all about love, because a lot of life is learning to love yourself no matter your form.. learning to accept, forgive, and recognise that "you didn't have a choice" regarding your upbringing, your genes, the creature you were given to possess (human rather than a horse etc).. and whoever you turn out to be, even if you fear that person, learning to love yourself for what you can become, whether good or bad, is the only way to find true peace in the turbulance you were given to be responsible for. I mean, inner forgiveness isn't an excuse to be a bad person, it's about realising the person who thought being bad was a good idea was just in need of love.. and that they didn't deserve to suffer, but had to go through that to see that they have to forgive themselves for who they were, because in part they knew no better.. and that's not something to be ashamed of.. it's normal.

Heavily ties in with a theory I have/had about the movie Predestination - to short cap, he couldn't ever accept or love himself in the present, but when he looked back, he instead found that person beautiful, and every time he looks back onto he former self, he see's someone worthy of love.

The only reason the cycle continues in that movie is because he doesn't accept who he will become - "if you shoot me, you become me" - you become the person you feared you'll be if you fight against it etc.

You are the person who in 50 years will look back on this random comment, and you'll say to yourself "I arrived", and the only difference is that you're not here, but there.. and everything in between is just a journey to understand that you are innocent of all the things this life put you through.

Where is this comment going? lmao.
