What is something or someone you hate, but everyone else seems to love?

I'm so gonna get hated on from posting this, and no, don't automatically assume I'm just some another kid who's a "scene, hipster, wannabe rapper, just some person who listens to rap/hip-hop in general or just some person who doesn't understand music in general" or any label/insult you'll or someone here will call me.

I'm none of those things & I don't appreciate it. ^

Most bands & artists from the past (60's through 90's) such as: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, AC/DC, The Who, The Doors, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Yes, Rush, The Monkees, Pearl Jam, Journey, Bon Jovi, Foreigner, Aerosmith, Steve Miller Band, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Motley Crue, Kiss, Eagles, Kansas, etc.

Cheesy hair/glam rock/metal bands, boring classic progressive/hard rock that puts me to sleep, cheesy production, & overplayed/overrated songs (no one can get ever tired of it easily).

I gave most of it a try before, including the songs that aren't mostly popular, it just doesn't do anything for me, there's nothing new or special about it to me.

There are no words to describe how horrible the vocalists from AC/DC sings. vomits

Even Kurt Cobain (ahem.. Kurt Cocaine) sounds like he's a depressed loser, there's nothing special about him either.

These songs... "Don't Stop Believing", "We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions" & "Bohemian Rhapsody"... make it stop... please...

I can care less about how long most of these bands have been around, how strong they're still going, how many tours they've done, how many fans they've got, how many albums they've sold out, so & so.

I can care less how "good the guitar riffs/solos or drum solos are", I can care less about how "meaningful the lyrics are", I can care less how "good the vocalist sings", I can care less about "other songs that are good besides the popular songs" & I can care less about "how unique the songs are put together".

And this... sigh this... "there wouldn't be bands existing today if it weren't for the past".

I do get the point there, but that's still not gonna change my mind for being a fan of the bands & artists from the past, it simply just isn't my cup of tea.

I. Don't. Care.

In case most "classic rock" fans or listeners don't get the clue... there are bands & artists especially the bands I listed from the beginning on my comment (even in different genres especially rap/hip-hop/r&b/pop/country/whatever's there) from the past that talks about love, relationships, break-ups & sex in the past too, not just modern or underground music.

People praise on all of these kind of bands so much & claim that they're the only bands & artists in the world that are considered good, but are too lazy to use the internet to explore other different genres & better bands that they didn't knew existed (either known or unknown, it's there) if they really don't wanna hear stuff about the same topics.

Even tumblr teens are also an another reason why I don't listen to most bands from the past (saying stupid shit like they're "born in the wrong generation"), teens wearing band shirts that they don't know who/haven't heard of (RULE: DON'T WEAR THE BAND SHIRT IF YOU DON'T LISTEN TO THE BAND) or just idolizing the main vocalist more than giving musicians (guitar, bass, drums & keyboard, whatever) credit, not even listening to their music in general as well (just only about 1-3 songs that are popular). They're doing this to look "cool" & "unique", pffttt... yeah right... in their dreams.

The only bands from the past I can handle are Black Sabbath (Ozzy Osbourne), Rainbow & Dio.

Everything else, like I said, it just isn't my cup of tea & doesn't do anything for me.
