What is something super important that is on the verge of happening?

Since when can you not pay off someone to stay quiet? Where is there a law? They are just trying to claim it was a donation, but how is it a donation if he was expecting to get reimbursed... I mean hell, law firms pay for things all the time and expense it to the customer. This guy paid for the payoff and expensed it to his customer.

You keep saying you can't pay someone $130,000 to keep quiet about an affair but yes, you 100% actually can. Do you actually believe that rich people are not allowed to pay off their mistresses to stay quiet?

The real question is them trying to claim this payoff was a donation to his campaign, but was it? Was it a donation to his campaign when as a billionaire he could have paid it off himself anyway, and he reimbursed his lawyer, as an expense, for handling it?

Again, just because it's unpleasant, doesn't mean it's illegal. The real question is why is Cohen taking a plea on something that was never illegal? I mean hell, literally not one politician ever in the history of the US has ever filed to the FEC a campaign expense to pay off a mistress. It has literally never happened, and in fact, if you did do so, the FEC would probably kick it back and say it wasn't a legit expense, because it was personal.

Politicians, rich people, and people being blackmailed by former mistresses have been paying them off forever. It's now someone a crime?
