I've gotten really weird, strong deja vu kind of regularly my entire life, sometimes it's triggered by something I hear, or something I see and then I will get deja vu and get dizzy and start thinking how everything is the same as the last time I got it even though it's not. I have to look around the room and tell myself what is different this time to "prove" it's not the same even though I know it isn't but it's like I have to convince myself. It's not the same as people I know seeing something familiar and going "huh, I just got deja vu". It's like my body freaks out whenever I get it and panics. I got it once while watching Eraserhead and now the song the radiator girl is singing "In heaven, everything is fine" gets stuck in my head every time I get it and once it's over I sometimes can't remember what triggered it. I worry it's a symptom of some undiagnosed mental illness but I don't know how and am too embarrassed to try to explain it to a doctor.
