Right before I was to take a drug test for a job, I almost smoked weed, which obviously would have shown up in the test and I'd have had to gone on to find some other place to work at. But I caught myself (I rarely smoke and for some reason kind of wanted to that day) and I got said job.

I ended up almost cutting the tip of my left index finger off there (I'm left handed), hating the way the place was run, worked with a few insufferable people - it was all around a bad experience. One I'd have missed if I'd just hit that fucking bowl.

I quit yesterday, but man I could have lived without the awful experience of that injury. It'll heal, but not for quite a long time.
