What song feels like it belongs in a different album?

I don’t really see a sonic connection with the tracks you mentioned - just being up-tempo isn’t enough. When looking at it from a genre angle long story short is the only track on folklore and evermore that doesn’t fit - I think it’s fine tho, she put it toward the end and I feel like it’s designed to be a bridge back to either new music or the re-recordings, whatever it is called the bridge out of this fairytale land - bringing us back to the feeling of 1989 is actually a very smart move. I don’t have any problem with it being on the album.

Long story short is pure pop, those other tracks are very folk/alternative - the closest that I can kinda see is the last great American dynasty but even that track is folk - melodically it’s not a pop song. It’s experimental folk and melodically the tracks are entirely different vibes.

There’s not a single song on folklore or evermore that sonically match the hook of “I fell from the pedestal, right down the rabbit hole, long story short it was a BAD TI-IME” this hook is pure pop. There’s no element of folk in this track while every other track on folklore and evermore are folk/alternative.

Idk I don’t mind disagreeing. You’re definitely allowed to think it fits
