I've apparently got a doppelganger in my home town. People would call out to me with her name. People that went to school with her that were mutual acquaintances would marvel at how alike we were. But I've never met her. Kind of curious tbh.

My husband though has a doppelganger from Kos. We were eating dinner in a taverna one day many years ago when my husband told me that the cook and the waitress kept peering out of the kitchen to look at him. After a while the waitress confessed that he looked just like the cook's son. Completely like him. The only difference was natural eye colour but apparently her son wore contacts that would make his eyes blue, so he looked even more like my husband. And they have the same name. The same name thing really weirded out the cook and she promised to tell her son all about it.

It's a strange world!
