That’s the story of me and my friend, the lawn mower. Well I was about five. My dad was mowing and there was fresh green grass everywhere. It looked fun and Of course 5yo me wanted to help. So I ran towards my dad in a 90 degree angle. Right on that side where the mower has that big opening where all the grass comes out. Of course I didn’t want to miss anything of the fun, so I ran at full speed. Towards the machine with that big scary opening with sharp blades inside. At some point I had to slow down. Which was difficult because of all the wet grass. So I slipped. And I kept sliding. Until my right foot went into the opening and towards the blades.... a horrible crunchy sound later the engine died. My food had stopped the spinning blades. He was torn to pieces and twisted 180 facing backwards. It was also squeezed and split open on the sole. 30y later and I only have a scar where the foot split open. They managed to stich be back together over 4 weeks. Only because my mother insisted. The docs would have taken everything off. So thanks mom!
