True Story- So one time me and a friend, both about 25 years old, were camping off an old forestry road in N GA by the river, an area attainable only by 4x4. I had one of those old sony 8mm cameras, fully charged and ready to record some crazy camping nonsense. It got dark and we were strumming the guitar, chatting etc. Then it started to get windy, real windy. And with no fanfare whatsoever, up above the treeline were three large, very bright, lights arranged in a triangle pattern. We looked at each other and distinctly pointed at the lights and confirmed to each other that we were indeed seeing this. It was important to establish that due to having taken acid earlier in the evening. I vividly recall trying to find the outline of the 'craft' or whatever that these lights were on. I finally gathered my thoughts and went for my video camera, but the battery was dead. I couldn't believe it. That was when my friend pointed out that there was no sound from the lights, or what may be behind the lights. Just lots of heavy wind all around (but not coming from the triangle). And suddenly, just like that, they took off. It seemed they just disappeared but I felt I saw it shoot off to my right. Immediately after this happened, a guy on a horse came galloping around the corner of the forestry road to our left at the same time a car, like a Ford Escort, came bouncing around the corner the other way and they almost hit, with the horse standing up on his back legs and everything. We heard them say a few harsh words to each other then everyone went on their way. To this day no one believes me when I say I saw a Ford Escort on that part of the road that far back.
