What was there a black market for at your school that wasn't drugs?

Freshmen year in college. In the Philippines, prepaid sim cards are common. At that time, post-paid plans are not yet considered a thing. Postpaid only bloomed when smartphones became normal. Anyway, at that time(around 2007-2008), I am in contact with a 'load' hacker. Prepaid loads are sold for about the same amount of the actual load(100.00 for 100 prepaid load). At that time, internet(mobile) wasnt that big and still at infancy in terms of public adoption of the technology. So text messaging is the main communication medium. The load hacker that I knew, gets all the loads for FREE. There is a bug in the telco's system(you can share/pass prepaid load to another prepaid sim card, and there is a bug). He exploited it so well he had so many sim cards with around 20,000-30,000+ each. So the carefree student that I am sold it to my blockmates/classmates. Instead of selling it for the same ratio, I sold it for the price + 20% additional prepaid load(100.00 and they'll get 120 prepaid load) because that was the guy's instruction to get customers fast. It got viral that it went out of the circle so fast. My classmates would introduce me to their extended friends and family members and I sold to them too. And my classmates' friends of friends would contact me as well.. Earned some at that time to the point that I dont care about the allowance from my parents and bought things that I needed for school from that money. People, whom I dont really know and were just customers, would smile/blink at me whenever they see me. Like a hero... lol I got a little fat from the carefree expending on food at that time and bought a new laptop, a new cellphone, expensive shoes, etc off of it.. There was a similar market outside the school. But that guy was selling sim cards with a fix amount of load. Normally brand new sim cards are sold for like 50.00 and there is 100.00 starting load. this guy is selling it for about 50% price:load(500.00 for a new sim with 1000 load). Police knew this market and he was actually wanted. The guy I knew was smarter. He just sold the load just like any local dealers would do(he is actually a legit dealer and has this in the shadows). And sold it to the ones who'll benefit off of it--prepaid users who wanted a better deal.
