I'm sort of a minority (I'm Middle Eastern, American born, but according the US census and applications, I'm White. I don't know if that is "minority-sh" enough for you, lol). Anyway, UH has a completely different culture than Texas AM. We all here are commuters for the most part so there isn't really a huge campus life culture.

I don't know why you specifically want to be friends with minorities but you can be friends with me. I don't think you'll like me too much as I am very politically incorrect and put humor/comedy before people's feelings. I had to take a lot of CS classes for my major so if you need advice or help, you can reach out to me.
