It might be hypocritical of me to warn against it, since when I was a 13 I'd always hung out with way older people and related better to people in their 20s and what not.

We'd hang out, do cool stuff, get mentored in a way. But yeah as online friends it is a little strange I admit just because the society around us associates it with predators and what not. I suggest people keep that in mind and play it safe and keep it to their age range on here, as unfortunate as that sounds.

It is what it is and it's best to just play it safe. In person I don't mind so much, I've taken kids under my wing and taught them how to lift and what not at the gym and given some pointers but for the online stuff I keep my distance.
