What urban legend, cryptid or folklore do you think is true, or partially true?

ESP partially, some method to perceive something outside of the standard use for the senses. Though I don't think it has to be some magical sixth sense but could rather be really good pattern matching by the brain using the standard senses.

I'll give an example. When I was a teenager my parents (who I thought were getting along well) went out to my Grandparent's farm while I stayed home studying for an exam. Two hours later I suddenly thought "oh shit what if my mom died today". First time in my life I ever thought that and I was really worried.

Turns out my father had secretly cut through most of the strap on my mother's saddle and the later spooked her horse and she ended up being thrown saddle and all into a rocky ditch at roughly the same time that the thought struck me.

Now I'm not saying there had to be magical transmission across space, my subconscious mind could have noticed a lot of little things like body language, eye movement, inflection in the voice, and other subtle clues then hours later put it all together at coincidentally about the same time as my mother being greatly injured.

And as another strike against actual mystical magical powers it is not like I suspected anything more than an accident at the time, it wasn't until later that enough pieces came together to implicate my father.
