What value is there in the question, "Have you noticed that all people who support abortion have already been born?"?

I think it's a clever emotional argument because ppl do tend to think of the matter this way but it isn't necessarily a strong argument. Should we oppose contraceptives, then, because those whose conception was not prevented by them are presumably happy to exist? These musings do NOT answer the legal and moral question of when, whether, and to what extent and in what ways zygotes, embryos, fetuses should have rights or moral consideration as against the women who must carry them with all the real-life scenarios. A woman in Texas has already been charged with murder because she had a miscarriage and this kind of thing will continue to happen. Then there's being hassled for ectopic pregnancies, being denied one for cancer treatment, etc etc. These are many good arguments for the legality of abortion EVEN IF one were to concede that there should be moral qualms with aborting casually well into pregnancy. I say we trust women with reproductive rights.
