What is a way customers for your profession can help you out/make your job easier?

If you are having office furniture delivered and you know we will be there between 8a-12p please have the old furniture removed(if we are not disposing of it). This will make our time inconveniencing you alot shorter than if you have to round up employees to have them disconnect pc equipment, etc and move the old furniture.

Also, like the pizza guys above say, if your building is in any way NOT COMPLETELY VISIBLE AND CLEARLY MARKED FROM THE ROAD, tell us. Because depending on where the building is and what kind of road it is, your wait time for the furniture could be increased up to a half hour because you didnt tell us it was a new construction with no signage or address and now i have to turn this giant truck around a mile up the road in heavy traffic.

P.s. An installation of any kind is usually given a window of about 4 hours. This includes furniture, utilities, landscaping, etc. The reason is because there are always unforseen issues(or common issues, hence the 4 hour window) when doing install work. The customer did not tell us there was a loading dock that we HAD to use. We are now trying to drive 2 city blocks in gridlocked traffic to get to the dock. This customer was not ready to receive their furniture and we had to wait a half hour while they contacted IT to move the computer equipment. And after this, they want us to removed the old furniture after all and now we are waiting for approval from our company and the sales company....

So yea.... making it to you within a 4 hour window is actually cutting it pretty close most of the time.
