What is the weirdest/creepiest unexplained thing you've ever encountered?

Had something similar happen to me but luckily my mom was not in a wreck or anything.

One day my mom had to go to a mandatory meeting at work. I had this overwhelming feeling that something was wrong. That she shouldn't go because something was wrong.

I didn't bother saying anything though because I figured it was probably nothing and besides, what could I tell her? " hey mom, you need to stay home and risk being fired because I just have a weird feeling."

Now, here I am at home. She is late. Which of course has me really worried because of my earlier feeling.

I called her cell but she doesn't answer. I call her work and they told me she never showed up for the meeting.

So, now I'm worried as hell. I call my sister and tell her everything. My sister can't get a hold of her either. We don't know what to do.

Several hours later I get a call from my moms phone. I say hello and I can hear noise in the background but she doesn't say anything and it hangs up.

Now, I'm thinking to myself, " Shit, she was kidnapped or she's hurt in a ditch somewhere and can't talk or something."

I'm about to call the police but the phone rings again. It's her. This time she speaks but she sounds really weak.

She's at the hospital. She's cold. She doesn't know what happened. She's somewhat confused and weak.

I let my sister know and we go together.

They ran tests on her and there was no sign of stroke or anything at all. They couldn't figure out what happened to her.

They apparently kept trying to get her to give them a number they could call, but she was out of it and could not remember anyones numbers.

She kept trying to give them her sisters phone number but she could only remember the area code. Her sister lived several hours away but at the time it was all she was able to remember.

Somehow she got it together enough to call me.

All she can remember is that as she was driving she suddenly felt like she was in a dream. She felt like she the runs very suddenly. She pulled over and headed into a store to use the bathroom.

Then she felt her self losing consciousness. A passerby called 911. She vaguely remembers hearing a child saying " Mommy, is she dead?"

I don't know what caused that feeling I had, but I'm just glad she pulled over safely and didn't pass out while driving or something.

Now, years later, I wonder if maybe she had a seizure or something that day, because this last July, she was at the store with me, she suddenly felt like she was dreaming and then had a seizure.

Scared me so bad it must have taken 10 years off my life.

I think sometimes our bodies are able to perceive more than we realize. We do still have instincts, we just don't always listen to them.

Maybe that's what "psychic" feelings are? Instincts kicking in telling us that something more is going on then we realize...

Well, from now on, if I ever have such a feeling again I will absolutely speak up...
