What do well-meaning people do that isn't as helpful as they think?

Every month, when that pregnancy test is negative, and the woman's period comes, she's already beating herself up thinking "if only I had done (this minor little detail) differently."

That's the point I was making. I didn't say infertility wasn't a medical problem, but there actually are a lot of people who "can't" get pregnant for the exact reason you just stated. They keep beating themselves up about something they perceive as a fault. And it has nothing to do with infertility because it's not a physical problem, it's just a matter of stress

If you have infertility, then you're probably talking to doctors and dealing with medical professionals and maybe even pursuing various options. You already know what's wrong, and it's a completely different issue
