I was right in the middle of moving. I was in high school, 10th grade. I had to leave everything I ever knew. We were on the road when my father who was a high rank in the Air Force who had to leave this post because of some trouble I got into. I heard the news on PBS as we were riding across country and our 1977 Jeep wagoneer. It was much older than we should have had at the time but that's what we had. I remember it sounding like something along the lines of force and wells war of the worlds. I didn't seem like it was something that was real just a play that was on PBS for strictly entertainment. When we realized it was real we stopped along the way from North Carolina to Idaho and my father checked in with his command to see if they wanted us to come back. But they didn't so we ended up moving from North Carolina to Idaho on the day of 9/11 because I was some f***** up youth and that's what happened.
