What were some "I can't believe i'm getting paid for this" moments at your job?

Haha - yeah, I work with a few clients with IED. It’ll be all chill, we’re laughing, talking and then I ask them to wash their hands and they start kicking and cursing. I worked in independent living at one point which I enjoyed, but I was more stressed because it felt like everything was on me and me alone. I work in a group home now and it really feels like a team and the other staff is amazing with most clients and truly care. I’ve also worked with a few who are very intelligent who just had a mild disability or deformity. It was cool because it was more similar to a friendship. We’d joke around, work on goals, watch tv together and whatever. A couple of them didn’t even have any meds which was a nice benefit.
