What and who were highlights for you in the NXT 2.0 era?

I'll start off with some of mine. Cora Jade and Grayson Waller were my female and male favorites respectively (plus Pax, obvi). I could go down a whole list of others like Bron, Melo, Tiffany, etc. but I'll leave some names for others as well.

Waller is a perfect heel that you just want to see get punched in the face. To make it even better he can go in the ring. He's not quite Miz on the mic, but he definitely has the gift of gab and is just really good at being unlikeable. It's funny to remember how controversial the decision was to have him send off Gargano. A lot of people didn't think he was worthy of that spot. A lot of people thought it was a waste of heat and wanted Ciampa to do it instead. Now I couldn't imagine anyone else doing it. He took that heat and turned it into gold and continues to be entertaining no matter what he's doing. Whether it's teaming with Tiffany or making videos about growing up on the streets to mock Solo, he's a guy who gets it and I'm excited to see on the main roster down the road.

Cora was someone I just found likeable right off. I was vaguely familiar with her from the indies but not really that familiar. So she was basically a new introduction, and I usually hate white meat babyfaces, but she was decent on the mic and I bought her undedog shtick. She worked a live thread harder than any live thread has ever been worked by anything with her shoulder at War Games. When I saw them put her with BFF Roxanne, I knew where it was going. While it was rushed and clunky, heel Cora Jade went from being my favorite woman on 2.0 to one of my favorite wrestlers in the entire company.

Another highlight for me was the unofficial "all women's episode" was a great episode of wrestling television and the best part about it was that they didn't point out that it was a mostly women's episode. I didn't even realize it until the main event when others pointed it out in the live thread. I just knew it was an episode I was enjoying a lot. Thought it was cool and showed how bright the future of the women's division is when I realized a bunch of green women had put on what was maybe my favorite wrestling television episode of the year at that point.

All in all, 2.0 wasn't perfect. Had some questionable booking at times. But it was fun for me more often than not for 52 weeks and that's all I can really ask for from a wrestling show.
