The right wing seems to be entering the “the reality you remember never existed” phase of gaslighting.

In this case, we remember a time when people gave enough of a fuck to defend each other and watch each others’ backs. They want us to believe we imagined it.

I don’t know what’s been going on the last 4 or 5 days, but something is up. I’ve never seen this much bootlicking and hedonistic narcissism widespread across Reddit. It’s like a bunch of pathologically unempathetic people just got the signal that now they can all indulge their sadistic desires.

Or maybe it’s a psyop. Maybe it’s what happens when the really dark forces get their hands on unlimited astroturfing tech.
