Sunderland

Hull City

Bournemouth

Burnley

West Brom

Watford

Middlesbrough

*This prediction comes with the notion that this coming season will be SUPER competitive, even more so than last year, with teams outside the 'top 5' will continue getting exponentially better. top clubs will realize, if they haven't already done so, they can't win the league every year and will be more cautious in managerial changes, seeking stability and long term gains.

Man U- League cup winners

Man City - FA cup winners

Champions League

Leicester get to champions league final, man city and arsenal to quarters, spurs to semis

Europa League

West Ham get to semi final of europa league, southhampton to quarter final. man u possibly gets to final, beaten by seville of course

How teams will end where they will end up

pochettino and spurs will be playing with a fury and have only become mentally stronger b/c of their end of season implosion due to poch's strong leadership. Poch needs the league title and so will his players

arsenal is fookin' arsenal and will be in the top 4. no trophies though because they focused really hard on the pl and champions league and they again still come up just short ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Gunners will call for Wenger's head again. nobody else is really going to really care enough to understand how they never win the league.

leicester will be focusing on the champions league but their never say die, carefree winning mentality remains. they win, that's what they do and they will at least get to champions league final and continue their jaw dropping tale but they may tire out after that

west ham: slavin bilic, also, another winner like pochettino. he almost got top 6 he tasted it and has one year of prem league management under his belt with efficient, experienced players. going to do better than Liverpool against lower, smaller teams, will do same or just a little worse against top teams as liverpool but will not lose to liverpool in the league. payet and friends will surprise us all.

liverpool will barely miss the top 4 and klopp's great relationship with the press will come to an end. they will call for his sack despite delivering a much improved season than last because of their finish. fans will be disappointed, but they haven't won anything in so long and he is so likable they will mostly stand by klopp. rightfully so too, the league is super competitive and they will go far in a cup.

Southhampton: pretty similar situation with West Ham, although arguably a little less consistent than west ham. season will be considered a success, despite them again arguably squandering a little potential

Man U- Oh, Man U, they just won a cup and yet the rug has still been pulled under them. once as they were sort of forming an identity, LVG gets sacked, (whether that was good, it is too hard to tell yet). Mourinho knows LVG and his philosophies. Will he build on them or cling on to his pride and "create the club in his image" as he did with Chelsea. Man U's success and ability to break into the top 6 seems to hinge on if Mourinho learned from his inability to adapt to circumstances at Chelsea. Also, he builds players up by giving his players a lot of confidence. Is confidence a good ingredient for players already making the more money than they are worth? Younger, less proven players might thrive with this confidence, older players regress due to their excess of confidence and disappointment in LVG's firing, who they were starting to at least get used to (which will be a complete break from last season: mourinho has always been the entertainer.) Mourinho's mentality will work better in cup tournaments and derbies most likely, pulling off the double against City. media actually will actually treat mourinho like a returning, conquering hero even with a top 7 finish because that is that is the most compelling narrative (and even if he doesn't, at least completely, deserve it. his modest successes will be largely due to the foundation LVG set). redditors will not sure what to do with the mixed bag of results especially his loss to liverpool twice.

Man City - Great team, but still, they are in transition phase and bigger clubs are always less malleable than smaller ones. has de bruyne, but no steady leadership or identity. man city will grow into the season as they form up around Pep. Aguero will most likely get injured or become exhausted from copa america so that won't help. Defense got better towards end of last season but midfield definitely needs to improve and their team is aging. don't have that many proven, consistent goal scorers in squad. season will be considered failure by the media whether reputation is earned or not.

Chelsea

It all depends on Conte doesn't it? Especially if there are no marquee signings (which I don't think there will be. we ended 10th and don't have actually a steady manager... yet.) At the end of the season, Chelsea finished the weakest out of the 'top 5' and are less stable and have less confidence (and less goal scorers) than three other teams. Chelsea will probably be much better than last season with Hazard hopefully being present and they will grow into the season as their confidence increases each game. we do have a bunch of tactical kinks to work out as well so it won't be smooth sailing. we will no doubt compete vigorously for europa league qualification but we don't have the stability or depth (our youth back-ups are still too young) to beat the extraordinary teams this year for such success. conte's first season will be polarizing to the media and redditors alike but I personally wouldn't be too disappointed if we finished 9th but we ended the season really strong and made it far in a cup. we will however, throw A LOT of desperate (man u esque) money at players if we finish 9th. also, conte will absolutely stay on. abramovich wants that stability and, conte will earn his respect.

Stoke & swansea : They are both average, not so consistent teams, what can I say. swansea definitely has less direction though. stoke will make it far in a cup tourney again

crystal palace: bounce back with pardiola at the helm. dude knows how to bust moves, tell inappropriate jokes, and make it far in cup tourneys.

everton will still be reeling from last season. they have no stability, leadership, or team mentality. they all think they deserve to be at better clubs and are distracted by the beautiful deals they are offered and their defense is shit. they needs a good manager (but who, though?) to at least fight their egos or they are destined for mediocrity

sunderland: I see Big Sam pull a similar stint like he did at West ham and stabilize the club. they will not be fighting regulation this year

west brom are going nowhere but down if they keep tony pulis. promoted teams are hungry and will feast on a lackluster west brom that will lose motivation because they haven't gone anywhere and actually did worse than last season. pulis's tactics are also getting pretty stale. they going to sack pulis b4 the season is over but it'll be too late and there will be no big sam to keep them up.

burnley, welcome back to the premier league! You are staying up this time. burnley is full of seasoned warriors who probably have so much mettle they are made of valyrian steel. they will rough it through a tough relegation battle.

bournemouth: see burnley except cherry flavored

watford. They fired their manager that got them promoted, made them play attractive football in the premier league, got them far in a cup, and they didn't really have to fight a relegation battle. Who's going to want that job now? Nobody better, most likely. they lost any building they did and have no stability. The flamboyant bullmooses will burn in the championship for what they did.

hull are not just good, they're greatt!! and hungry. or so I think. they have a lot of decent players with stuff to prove to themselves and will stubbornly stay up

middlesbrough: i don't know anything about this club I have no idea how they might do so I relegated them b/c of all the other good teams. they might win the treble for all I know.

random thoughts: guardiola's career at man city will get progressively better as time progresses, taking them to a champions league final more than once during his five-six year stint while mourinho's career at utd will slowly get worse but getting utd to a champions league semifinal in his third and possibly final year
