The two main ingredients has ALWAYS been spandex and over-the-top martial arts.

Totally my own opinion, but the costumes I often see on this sub and in BOOM Comics are disappointing. They’re not streamlined, overly accessorized and come across too similarly to Marvel/DC’s designs.

E.g. Super Power Beatdown Green Ranger, Ranger Slayer, and Drakkon’s sentry designs.

The martial arts... no CG bullshit. The choreography needs to be exciting and fun—Think back to the old Kung Fu films like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

People seem to forget what makes Power Rangers actually Power Rangers and again that’s SPANDEX and over-the-top martial arts.
