I disagree with the concept of equal outcomes in the first place. No one is deserving of exactly the same outcome, so I don't really see your point.

Which is understandable and not a societal problem, but a biological one. Society is not holding you back, nature it. Would you hire a soon-to-be-pregnant woman if you had to make ends meet in your business?

Many women leave male dominated fields like STEM because of the toxic work environment and rampant sexism, or even feeling physically unsafe

Or, just hear me out, that's the excuse they give when they realize they can't cut it. I work in STEM, women are literally untouchable.
