Hierarchies are our enemy, and you can imagine that people that have no choice are going to fall victim to them.

The working conditions are deplorable at best to begin with, so it would be reasonable to eventually expect a breakout that would affect a lot of workers.

We need to act fast. There's no reason we can't be reusing for example Aurora's mothballed facility in Med Hat to be growing vegetables.

Unfortunately I have no confidence in this government or any of its elected officials. Instead of building a factory for masks to almost guarantee that we can eventually re-open the economy, we are instead relying on a hope and a prayer that a vaccine and efficient testing comes to fruition.

Meanwhile our government is willing to print money for literally any other cause except for a way to create more masks reliably and without interference.

And I say that as someone that has fairly decent knowledge of how central banking works. It makes zero sense, and the way debt is being treated makes even less sense. It's all a big joke at this point, so why select a pipeline but not a factory that might eventually help diversify us?

And I realize we need the pipeline, but still...
