Isn't it quite paradoxical that you guys seem to expect that woman should be pretty much chained to a stove and then you expect that it's not you who brings the bread on the table? Like how would it work exactly and have you ever really thought these things through?

As a guy I don't buy stuff to women as means for to get them attracted because a) it doesn't work this way and b) the reason why it doesn't work is because of the investment effect and the effect is literally that the person who makes the investment to you, let it be emotional, financial, effort, time or whatever it is IS the one who gets attached and not the other way around. This is why one shouldn't refuse a free drink, favour or whatever it is if that your date wants buy to you if you like them already. But of course you as a person who has zero experience in relationships or with women in general must know that women only want money from men.
