What is a word that many people mispronounce? (From r/AskReddit)

What do you mean by 4 unique styles of English?

I lived in Wales most of my life and the English spoken in North Wales is no different to the English spoken in Northern England. I'm not saying your incorrect just wonder what you mean.

The accents are vastly different, of course. But if that's what you mean then there are significantly more than "4 unique styles", my cousins who live literally 25 miles away speak such a different accent to me that I occasionally struggle to understand them (I have a Manchesters accent, they have thick Lancashire accents).

The Welsh language is very different in the south compared to the north, completely different words are used for many things (e.g. "now" is "nawr" in the south, but in the north it's "rwan". Is that the sort of thing you mean by "unique styles"?

That's kind of true but again it isn't in a Wales/England kind of variation. In Manchester many people call an alley way between to houses a ginnel, but that's a very Manchester/North west thing to say, people from North Wales might not understand but chances are someone from Somerset wouldn't either.
