Throwaway account for obvious reasons.

My friend was dating this guy, got drunk, and had sex with his best friend. The next day she said he raped her and basically made this guy I was friends with feel sorry for her after she alienated herself from everyone that was there for her. I will say that she first told me they had sex and then after she talked to the guy friend she called me and told me she was raped and he called me and told me someone used the date rape drug on her. The whole thing was dramatic and ridiculous. Reliving this is actually insane. I'm worried that one of them will see this and then the whole thing will be reignited.

He stopped talking to me because I wasn't down with her bullshit. She was out driving drunk one night and calling him telling him she was going to jump into this lake and commit suicide. She came to the beach where she was yelling at me and screaming that she was going to "walk into the ocean." After that I was done and I told him so (but not her because I didn't want to be the cause of any outbursts). Good news is she is doing better now because she found a new boyfriend who she felt was worthy of her. Bad news is me and the guy still really aren't friends because I was never able to reconcile him getting jerked around by the dick and he was never able to reconcile how heartless I was about the whole thing. You should know though that this was the last straw for me in a long line of events and I couldn't take it anymore. Her and I are still friends though because underneath all of the shit she really is a good person. I think this all stemmed from her alcohol problem and maybe bad self-esteem.
