What is the worst movie plot hole you've ever seen?

Oh shut the fuck up. Episode 4 has absurd amounts of plot holes.

  1. Luke was in hiding and kept his dad's last name. Real fucking brilliant.

  2. Leia was in hiding so they decide to make her royalty. Real discreet.

  3. Obi-Wan is in hiding, but hey, the droids he doesn't recognize can find him easily enough. This means someone told Leia about Obi-Wan, the force, and where he was hiding, but ignored the fact that she had a twin brother.

  4. Force people can sense other force people. This is a theme throughout every single movie... you know, except the first one. It's almost as if the writer didn't know there'd be 9 movies and 128381289 books and TV shows. Somehow Vader doesn't recognize his own kids when he meets them. "Oh he's been tainted by the dark side and can't recognize his family" or some shit like that. Yeah, except Palpatine figures it out easily. Apparently Vader was just an idiot.

  5. We'll just ignore the fact that a 100 trillion dollar super weapon can be destroyed by a basic missile. At this point that plot hole is just cliche.

  6. Obi-Wan is on the planet to watch over Luke. Fun fact, he doesn't watch over Luke at all until Luke's entire extended family gets butchered. Don't you think he should have started training him a long time ago? It wouldn't be too hard to convince some farm boy that he was naturally talented at magic and teach him how to use it without letting him in on the fact that his dad is a Sith Lord.

  7. The Empire frames the sand people for murder. Why the fuck would they do this? They just butchered everyone within 1000 miles. Who are they trying to impress by framing the sand people? That said, would they really care enough about a pathetic desert wasteland to frame the locals? They blow up fucking planets and take credit for it, what issue would they have with killing some rednecks?

  8. We'll ignore letting the droids escape. This one has been beaten to death as well.

I'm sure there are plenty more I'm forgetting. Every single Star Wars movie has a ton of plot holes. It's a fucking Sci-Fi movie, it's to be expected.

The fact that you trash plot holes in one and swear that another has no plot holes just shows that you're an ignorant neckbeard fanboy fucktard.
