What was the worst physical pain you've ever felt in your life?

Mine was a comminuted fracture of the greater tuberosity of the humerus. Translation: I broke my shoulder. More accurately, I shattered my shoulder - the ball at the end, where it fits into the shoulder joint, fractured into 5 pieces. No surgery needed, as there was no displacement, so I just had to have a splint to heal, but that night, when I first changed my shirt, was sheer hell. I was dosed to the gills on Percocet and still in absolute agony the moment I tried to move the shoulder joint in the slightest.

I missed 5 weeks of work. I also broke two ribs and had a compression fracture in my spine. My bicycle, from which I fell going a grand 5 mph, sits to this day behind the garage, mocking me.
