I had an IUD that fell out of place. I wasn’t in much pain, got it removed and was fine. When I was getting the new IUD inserted I wanted to pass out. I could barely stand while signing out of my doctors office, but I know the procedure hurts so I figured I’ll go hope and sleep it off. Nope. I woke up in agonizing pain. Crying, screaming, begging my family to take me to the emergency room. We get to the er, I pass out. They are very busy so two hours pass and I feel like my insides are being torn apart. Finally a doctor from my obgyn’s office agrees to come in and remove it. She takes one look at it and says “yup you rejected it. Looks like you were having contractions trying to push it out.” Adding to the list of why I am never, ever, having children.
