What was the worst thing somebody did at your school?

A bad thing: School administrators became aware of a group of students who were distributing illegal substances (marijuana and ecstasy, primarily) across the street from the institution. These sales were videotaped over a period of time, and the day before a school vacation the police came in to do a big "bust": five students were arrested, and various paraphernalia were taken away (bags, scales, about a QP of marijuana, on the order of 50 ecstasy tablets).

I thought it then and I think it now: The administrators should have personally intervened in an effort to stop the students from dealing drugs. Allowing it to continue while collecting evidence and ultimately using a sting operation seemed to me like a terrible decision.

This occurred at a public, PWI; so, all offenders were able to get out of this situation with community service, probation, and mandatory drug tests. Some offended again and faced more serious consequences, which included long-term suspension and, for one individual, a short stint in jail.
