What is the worst thing you've ever seen happen at a wedding?

My cousin was and always has been more concerned with attention than wisdom. She wanted a lot of people standing for her, including my sister and I, but she ended up having tons of drama and last minute dropouts, so "only" had 14 ...per side.

FF to the outdoor ceremony-- it's starting to sprinkle (foreshadowing), but everyone's focused on getting the groom to sober up and actually walk down the aisle. The bridesmaids had to rip the beer cans and Burnett's from the grip of almost all of the groomsmen and shove them on their way. I got paired with a state trooper, so he was cool, but my sister was harassed while they walked down the aisle and she tried to smile through it for the camera. She confronted him as best she could, under the circumstances, but obviously didn't want to ruin the day.

About two minutes in, the rain poured down so hard that 95% of the audience just got up and fled to the outdoor food/reception tent, including said groomsmen. This left 14 bridesmaids, the soft-spoken officiant, and the couple to put on a show for empty chairs.

95F and now soaking wet, we trudged through the mud to the tent after the ceremony was completed. The potluck reception was swarming with flies and mosquitoes in the wet heat. The self-serve kegs of beer were mere feet from the porta jons. This didn't help the state the select groomsmen were in, and they started picking fights with anyone within reach. The fatty buttercream on the cake was dripping from the heat so much that it almost looked intentional, but we were too distracted by the fecal matter of both human and beast to care.
