What would you do with this team?

If I were owner/GM of the 49ers, here's what I'd do in order:

  1. Fucking pay for those soccer fields that Jed promised to pay for. Jesus Christ man. They're just kid that wanna play soccer and shit. $10m ain't shit when you own an NFL team. Show the kids some love.

  2. Fire coaching staff, specifically head coach and the offensive and defensive coordinators. I don't know enough about the position coaches to comment there. Replace with Hue Jackson or Sean McDermott as head coach (just throwing names out here. Preferably someone with experience and a history of success. Should also be an offensive-minded coach as well)

  3. DONT trade away vernon davis or Staley or Dawson or any other veterans. Let them retire or leave on their own accord. Start building a reputation that this is no longer an organization that disrespects their players. We can get 6th or 7th round picks elsewhere. They practically grow on trees for Baalke.

  4. FA evaluation:

Cut/trade Brooks because his cap hit is gonna be too big next year (almost 10m I think). Use that money and our other 40m in cap space to re-sign Boone, Re-sign Celek, sign a quality starting o-lineman (2 if Boone doesn't re-sign), sign a big name DT, sign a back-up RB (one that doesn't have a history of injury), a veteran player for the sake of mentoring the younger players, and depth at other assorted positions.

  1. Draft evaluation:

Spend the first and second round picks on two of these three categories

-ILB with speed. We are seriously lacking speed in the middle of our defense after Willis left and Bowman got hurt. Notable candidates: Jaylon Smith, Darron Lee, Myles Jack (assuming his knee is good)

-WR. Notable candidates: LaQuon Tredwell, Tyler Boyd, Josh Doctson

-One of these other dudes: Jalon Ramsey (S), Robert Nkemdiche (DE/DT), Vernon Hargreaves (CB), Joey Bosa (DE/OLB). These guys all have potential to be great.

Continue the late round redshirt program. 5th, 6th, and 7th round picks almost never end up doing anything. Better to use a couple of those picks on injured players. Worked out well with Dial, Reaser, and Acker. DONT draft injured players in rounds 1-4 unless they have potential to be legendary (Marcus Lattimore)

  1. Keep Kap because all the other options suck. Deal with QB last once you have a steady offense

  2. Keep Hayne because the Aussies are fuckin cool and we need their support. Also Hayne Plane/Train/Crane shirts need to start selling at our merchandise stores in the stadium.

  3. Lower the price of hot dogs. I went to a game at levis and got a hot dog. It was really fuckin good and I wanted another but didn't have enough cash. Also lower the price of beer and other food. Maybe stop selling beer after a certain time in the 4th quarter? Just an idea.

  4. Sign the Banjo Guy to a 1 day contract. That way we can induct him into the 49ers ring of honor. Then make a giant marble statue of him and put it outside the stadium for the world to witness. Or at least put him in the 49ers museum. That guy is fucking legendary.

  5. Have this guy do the national anthem before every home game in Levi's. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmzYFHWtAzk

  6. Do everything in your power to get Boobie Dixon back into a 49ers uniform.

Obviously I'm abusing my power a little bit on the last few points, but you get the idea.
