We were doing a progression run fairly early in BC. We had High Astromancer Solarian down to around 15 percent when our guild leader and raid leader dissaper. Since they were our main tank\healer, we wipe and wonder wtf happened.

They say on vent that they were both pm'd by a GM saying they needed to talk. They asked to finish the fight but were denied. They were both ported to an inn near ironforge, then we hear whoaaa on vent. A GM showed up with some fancy GM gear and sparkles and explained they were both receiving an immediate short term ban. The funniest part was the GM going over why they were banned... I used to have a screenshot.

They reason they wer banned was language and intentional griefing. The night before there was a noob guild doing some even around felwood. We (us 3) pulled a world boss over to there event and wipped them for about an hour (non-pvp server). Eventually the guild leader, which we had bad blood with, hopped on our vent nearly crying. It was like a twelve step progam-- Denia Anger and Bargaining Depression and Acceptance

She started going wild on our vent after 15 minutes of talking with our group of rowdy, old-school MMO players. Then started mass PM'ing our entire guild saying how terrible people we are.

I used to have screenshots from the Guild Leader and Game Master regarding the actual conversation. Something like "you can't call someone a washed up saggy tittie cuntbag with a blown out pink sock. The GM actually said this with quotes and you could tell he was laughing based on the tone of the rest of the conversation.

The other one was early in Vanilla, I submitted a GM ticket for something I don't even remember. He showed up with some crazy clothes and casted spell's that I'd never seen in game. He actually dueled me while we talked about Python programming for about half an hour, then he says shit.. I gotta go! and just disappears. Never heard from him again.

Game used to be different.
