I don't doubt she has a good personality (the woman I work with is pretty cool), but I'm not gonna go to Thailand just to meet her plus the rest of the family just to find out and pay her way to the US. Plus it's apparently the norm to send money back to the parents each month. Fuck all that lmao. And sometimes it can be hard to have a real conversation with them due to the language barrier, the girl I work with has lived here as long as I've been alive but it's still hard for me to understand her sometimes, and sometimes she definitely doesn't get what I'm saying.

Thanks for supporting an unconventional thing I guess. But I'm definitely not into it/desperate enough for it
