What is your best bad roommate story?

First you need a bit of background. My Grandfather was a great wine enthusiast - it was his passion. From the time I was born even until today, he has bought me a bottle of wine on my birthday every year. I had a total of about 17 at the time of this story, as I had drank a couple of bottles throughout the years. However, I had never, ever opened mymost prized bottle of wine - a bottle of Barolo that my Grandpa bought for me after he found out my mom was pregnant.

At the time of this story, my (now ex) roommate's girlfriend was an alcoholic. She was kicked out of her parents house for trashing the place in a drunken rage, and so her boyfriend and I agreed to let her stay the night - which turned into a week of 'just letting her stay the night'. One night while my roommate and I were out working, his girlfriend invited some of her friends into our apartment. My roommate returned home that night to find her passed out on the floor, with a broken bottle of wine on the ground next to her. No, don't worry, it wasn't my prized birth year Barolo - they'd already drank all of that. To make things better, her friends had taken off with 5 other (seemingly random) bottles from my collection. So, I was down 7 bottles.

Long story short, she had an emotional breakdown the following morning when she realized what she had done. She'd believed that the wine belonged to her boyfriend, because at some point he had told her they were his (he later admitted that he'd said this to impress her). Throughout that morning, she apologized profusely, and also vomited profusely, and cried...profusely. In the end she manged to get 2 of the bottles back that her friends had stolen, and her boyfriend offered to pay me for what was lost. Anyway, last I heard was attending rehab of some kind.
