What is your best college story?

I am still in college, but this story is kinda nuts. So I did my first year at a different school and I happened to meet a girl who was the daughter of someone famous (not going into a ton of detail not trying to have u sneaky Reddit ppl find out). She was nice and rather cute but her and I were just friends. Anyways I would see her time to time and on social media and she would always be on some drug or really high. I saw her less and less but saw her online in some strange situations. Eventually I stopped seeing her on campus all together. One day near the end of the semester, I wake up and check Instagram and see tons and tons of photos she has posted all throughout the night. They range from her crying with nonsensical descriptions to pictures of people she knows, like 30 photos at least all posted overnight. I text her and ask "hey is everything ok?". She responds immediately, "Im going through insane xanax withdrawals, can you please help me". This came as a shock as I didn't really know the extent of her drug usage nor did I really want to. But figuring she was a friend in need, I went over to her dorm. She opened the door wearing an animal skin coat that stretched to her ankles and not much else. She instantly hugged me and started sobbing again. Already in shock, i asked her to recount what had happened to her. She had been dating a drug dealer, missing class and hanging w him. She would pay him regularly for xanax and she was really addicted. Her parents were very wealthy and would give her a weekly stipend of $140 a week but she would run out of money quickly as taking xanax caused her to go on insane shopping benders all over the city. When she would run out of money she would sell her clothes to buy more xanax. One weekend, she got so zonked out on xanax she lost her xanax and obviously had no more money to buy xanax. She told me she had been awake for 3 days and had not eaten for 2. I was so freaked out and unable to think of what to do. I grabbed her water and her mother, also famous, called her. She asked me to hold her while she explained to situation to her mom. After she hung up, she said that she was going to sleep after smoking some weed and that I could sleep with her (it's 10 am at this point, so ??). She invites me into her dorm room and there's clothing, random items, pill bottles and cigarette butts everywhere. It was maybe one of the messiest rooms Ive ever seen in my life. She picked up a slice of pizza that was laying on her desk and threw it out the window while screaming and then apologized. She then turned on 50s Doo Wop music and began to pack a bowl. I couldn't really believe the situation I was in at the time and was trying to think of the right thing to do. My idea was to let her sleep and leave as soon as possible, checking in on her later. I'm glad that's not what happened because apparently xanax withdrawal can kill you, along with the malnutrition and dehydration her body was facing at the time. Midway through her bedtime (10 am bedtime) bowl and our conversation about her life, there is a knock at the door. She quickly puts out the bong and I open the door. It's a school campus advisor (manager, whatever someone who oversees student affairs). One of her roommates called the front desk and complained about their roommate having a fucking nervous breakdown all night. He begins to ask her questions as well as asking me if I'm her boyfriend. Soon, two campus security officers are also there. She begins to haphazardly recount what has happened in the last few days as she did with me and then goes on a long rant about why her father doomed her existence by being absent and neglectful. Soon a 4 person med team is there checking her vitals and whatnot. Her blood sugar is extremely low and they tell her they are going to take her to the hospital. They also ask me if I'm her boyfriend, again. They tell her to get dressed because a fur coat isn't an outfit and she gives me her phone and tells me she is going to walk out of the school like a fashion show runway and to take pictures and document this moment. I am absolutely sure this is not happening. She dons her most expensive clothing and I take pictures as she's escorted to an ambulance. The advisor tells her we have to part so she kisses me on the cheek and thanks me. Her and her 7 person escort group leave the school and I go to the cafeteria unable to say a word until much much later.

Writing this out I cannot believe this happened. The images are still so vivid in my mind. I won't write about anything that happened afterwards but she is fine and doing well now. I guess the moral of the story is that drugs are bad.
