What is your best "it really is a small world!" story?

There was this middle-aged man who bought our house 3 years ago, we'll call him John. He was also one of my uncle's closest friends. The house is still under our name for now because he went through a rough divorce which ended recently.

There is this another middle-aged man who is an ex-pastor and loves women. He worked at this shop which was next to where our parents work at. He has a hot wife, she was married to a singer, but is now divorced from the singer and married the ex-pastor.

Here's where it gets interesting. John was introduced to the ex-pastor by one of my uncle's friend. John being lonely after his divorce and due to his ex-wife being a psycho bitch, got his keen eyes on the ex-pastor's wife (because she's fucking hot). They apparently played footsies while they had dinner on the first time the two met and it was under the same table where the ex-pastor was dining. As time went on, they started to have an affair and cunningly by John and stupidly by the ex-pastor, they somehow managed to take the pastor's house. After losing his girl and his home, the ex-pastor went crazy (I mean who wouldn't). So he decided to pay John a 'kind' visit. Apparently, the ex-pastor stabbed John a couple of times with a small knife, but luckily for John and unluckily for the ex-pastor, John lived JUST inches away from not being stabbed in a critical area. Ex-pastor was arrested and was tried. His sentence was a 10-year sentence. It was long because he had a restraining order placed but he breached that. He appealed to the Court and his appeal will be held next year.

We both know them to a somewhat degree and was quite shocked at the news. Story overall hasn't ended as this happened a few weeks ago but what I do know is that the ex-pastor's life is practically ruined and lost everything while John suffered an injury but is able to fuck the hot wife. I feel sorry for the pastor but he should have never went full rampage mode and assault someone in an attempt to kill no matter what.
