What is your biggest/most recent "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take" moment?

Became close friends with a co-worker over the course of a year. Actually knew her for more than that but we had only became friends and then close friends in a year or so. Eventually had romantic feelings for her, which I had never had for a girl before. I told her how I felt about her after debating it for like 3 months (this was over text because I moved a few hours away from her) and she didn't really say if she felt the same way or not. She has a boyfriend (which I already knew) and while I realize it's kind of a shitty thing to say to someone when they're already in a relationship, I just couldn't go the rest of my life without her knowing how I felt, just in case she felt the same way.

I figured it would ruin our friendship, but she still texts me every couple weeks and genuinely seems like she wants to keep in touch, which makes me really happy.

Maybe one day she will tell me if she feels the same way. I would wait around my entire life for her.
