What was your biggest/most regrettable "It's not a phase, mom. It's my life." that, in fact, turned out to be just a phase and not your life?

honestly thats the way to go I think. I would be delighted if one of my teachers had some anime stickers on their bottle and was an anime watcher, but as a kid I would probably not approach the teacher about it just to keep in under wraps. I would love to be open honestly. I feel like so many people are missing out on so much good content. anime is a medium, not a genre, so the people who stay away from it because its "weird" are like staying away from the entire medium of films because they're weird. but you know, social status trumps everything in highschool (other than grades lol) so thats really more of a fantasy. if you don't mind me asking what are some of your favorite shows?
