My friend brought me along to a yoga class at a local studio she liked. We were too late for the regular yoga class but there was a "Zen Meditation" class starting soon so we figured "what the hell" and stayed for it. The class instructor was a young dude in a robe and the other participant was an odd middle-aged dude who seemed like a regular. We had to sit on these cushions facing a wall for awhile which was okay... and then we had to get up and march quickly around the room like a momma duck and her babies while the momma duck hummed and banged a gong occasionally. I was not into it and was wondering how my friend felt so I looked over and we made eye contact. At the point we both were desperately trying to contain the urge to giggle and we had to go back to our cushions for more silent wall staring time.... I broke and started giggling uncontrollably and had to get up and leave the room. I felt really bad for being disrespectful of these two dudes who were super into it but I just couldn't do it any longer.
