What is your craziest "glitch in the matrix"/"wtf just happened" story?

A month or two after my grandmother (who was quite young and healthy) died unexpectedly my family took a road trip. We were extremely close with my grandmother before she passed and everyone was devastated by her death, it was really hard to believe and felt like a huge loss (still does).

We were driving on the highway late at night on the way home from the long road trip, and I remember sitting in the back seat looking out the window just thinking about my grandmother and how it was surreal she was gone forever. I started thinking about the afterlife, if I would ever see her again, etc. and was actually crying a bit as I stared out the window. I thought to myself "Grandmother**, please send me a sign you're looking out for my family."

Seconds later, my parents in the front seat scream as a MOOSE runs across the highway and the civic in front of us hits it right in the stomach - its guts fly out everywhere and the car windshield is completely smashed. This is in Eastern Canada so it is pretty common to hear horror stories about hitting moose - and it is frequent that people will die by hitting a moose, they're huge. So my family pulls over to see what if everyone is okay. They are extremely scared (glass in their skin, in a state of shock) but amazingly, they all survived with minimal injuries. We called 911, stayed with them until ambulances came, etc. But still, if that was my family, about one second later, we would have hit the over-1000 lb moose and could have faced serious life-threatening injuries.

My family was very shaken up from witnessing this and realizing how it could have been us in that situation literally 2 seconds later. As soon as we got back in our own car it was silent and my mom just said "I have a weird feeling like your Grandmother protected us there." My mom even described feeling like my grandmother was telling her what to do when she was helping the people in the car accident (grab them a towel for the blood, check their eyes for glass, etc.). Idk, it was freaky and one of the scariest moments of my life and I like to believe that my grandmother was protecting us and heard me thinking about her.
