Worked in a meat department in a fancy food co-op. One coworker was the Boss's Favorite. Was spoiled for months with best schedules.

Was an open secret that this same coworker stole primo cuts of meat every night - filet mignon, halibut, etc. Would snicker and make the same comments about "dinner for the little lady." The day he got caught he was fired on the spot. As he left, he yelled at me and the other worker, "I'm coming back tomorrow and both of you narcs are going to be fucking sorry."

Called and quit the next morning. Had watched this guy steal with impunity and get treated like a king for months. Not trying to get shot by an AR15 because his nightly dinner date was ruined.
